Johan Sandersson, VP, Principal Product Manager, FactSet

Johan is responsible for the integration between FactSet products and their clients’ Symphony installations, ensuring a seamless experience with a focus on the user workflow. Johan has been representing FactSet in the Foundation since the start and have a keen interest in the interoperability between users from different companies using different financial applications. In addition to working with Symphony, Johan is responsible for various other collaboration tools within FactSet and was previously working within research management and the products FactSet offers in that space. Originally from Sweden, Johan joined a startup in London as a software developer. The company built a platform for measuring the value of sell-side services in the financial community and was ultimately acquired by FactSet in 2005.

Phillip Snow, Chief Executive Officer, FactSet

Mr. Snow was named Chief Executive Officer effective July 1, 2015. Prior to that, Mr. Snow held the title of President. He began his career at FactSet in 1996 as a Consultant, and in 1998 moved to the Asia Pacific region to hold positions in Tokyo and Sydney. After moving back to the U.S. in 2000, Mr. Snow held various Sales leadership roles before assuming the role of Senior Vice President, Director of U.S. Investment Management Sales in 2013. Mr. Snow received a B.A. in Chemistry from the University of California at Berkeley and a Masters of International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.

Harald Bina, COO MarketMap Real-Time, FIS

As Chief Operating Officer of the MarketMap Real-Time product suite, Harald Bina is in charge of maximizing the business value of FIS’ real-time market data products, including MarketMap Terminal, MarketMap Feed and MarketMap Web Components. Mr. Bina began his career in financial technology at Raiffeisen Zentralbank in Vienna, where he spent five years in application support and project management. Chris Pennington is a member of the America’s Google Cloud leadership team with current responsibility for the people, sales, strategy and vision for the US Eastern States. He is also a member of the Google Cloud global leadership team helping to shape Google’s product and business direction. Chris joined Google following 10 years at Microsoft and 11 years at Sun Microsystem. He has been fortunate to live and work across the globe from bases in London and Paris; Hong Kong where he was responsible for Enterprise Sales in both Hong Kong and Macau; as well as Seattle and New York in the US. He has extensive experience helping global clients to realize true business value, embrace cultural diversity and maximize disruptive innovation. Peter Hans, CEO, Harvest Exchange

Peter Hans is the CEO and co-founder of Harvest Exchange. Prior to launching Harvest in 2013, Peter was on the founding team of Height Analytics. Daragh Maher, FX Strategist, Director, HSBC

Susan Gilbertson, Deputy Global Head of Equity Research, Jefferies

Susan F. Gilbertson is the Deputy Global Head of Equity Research at Jefferies with over 25 years of experience in both U.S. and international debt and equity financial markets. Previously, Ms. Gilbertson was the Head of Research at Cathay Financial, a U.S. broker dealer specializing in special situations. Prior to that, she was the Americas Research Manager for the debt and equity research teams at ABN Amro and a member of the Americas Equity Operating Committee, having joined ABN Amro to run their Latin American equities division, overseeing research, sales and trading in the US, UK, Brazil, Mexico and Argentina. Mike Scannell, Platform Solutions Lead, Symphony

Mike Scannell is the Platform Solutions Lead at Symphony Communication Services LLC. He focuses on integrations and API development for clients. Prior to Symphony LLC, Mike worked at Goldman Sachs for five years. He started at Goldman Sachs as a web developer in the legal, compliance and auditing group. He went on to product manage the firm’s strategic web stack. Mike is an electrical engineer and graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2012.
